Our History and Expertise
We started Ottawa Tree Trimming in 2013 with a straightforward mission: to give homeowners and property managers a trustworthy, professional partner for tree care. Over the past decade, we have worked through ice storms and windstorms, cleared land for new builds, removed hazardous ash trees during the emerald ash borer crisis, and pruned fruit trees in backyards across the region. That experience has taught us how to read a tree, assess risk, and plan the safest, cleanest removal or trim every time.
Our team specializes in the full range of tree work: removal of dead or dangerous trees, stump grinding, hedge and cedar hedge trimming, tree cabling and bracing for storm damage prevention, and arborist reports to support permit applications with the City of Ottawa. We also handle the less common jobs, such as fruit tree pruning, emerald ash borer treatment, wood chipping, and work around hydro lines (always respecting safe approach distances to your private service entrance). If it involves a tree or a stump in the Ottawa area, we have done it.
