Is your estimate truly free?

What is included in the quoted price?
Our estimate covers the work itself, basic site cleanup (raking and debris removal), and fuel. It does not include stump grinding or wood chipping unless you request them. We will itemize any add-ons clearly so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Do you offer payment plans or financing?
We accept cash, cheque, debit and credit card. For large projects, discuss your needs when you call. We can often work with you on timing and scheduling to fit your budget.
Will the City of Ottawa require a permit, and does that cost extra?
The City may require a permit for private tree removal, depending on tree size and location. We can advise you during the estimate. If a permit is needed, you apply for it (the City charges a fee), and we can provide an arborist report to support your application. That report is a separate service starting from $110.
What if the tree is diseased or has emerald ash borer?
Ash trees affected by emerald ash borer must usually be removed. We offer free estimates for ash removal and can discuss treatment options if the tree is early-stage. Detection and assessment start from $85.
